Default 10 20 small pot boring

villian is reg, i was hoping he would fold an 8 or make a big call with a smaller pair. i dont know which is more likely but the bet seems like a good idea.

I hate it because sometimes he will raise you with his big flop draws that didn't get there, or have hit a king with Kxh, or just call you with a big 8. This is almost never a value bet, maybe if he has 89 or 78 I suppose.

I like this, given your image.

It's a pure value bet, though.

The more likely he is to play J8, Q8, K8, the less I like it, but I don't think most players have these hands, hardly ever.

if he's agro, a c/c could be good, too

i likr c/c here, bet woudl be better with a8
you are looking for like 6x or 77 to call... 8x splits aside from a8 which wins..

Oh haha, missed the paired board...wow is it ever dry, I don't think he's calling without a split/better hand more than 5 or 10% of the time.

If the turn was a 3c, I really like this bet.

seems like the 2 is better because he might fold a split, and if he never folds a split, then he probably calls with lower pairs because he wont expect me to bet an 8 here, he'll think i'll have something good or air

/run-on

I like this, but c/c might be better. With A8 this would be hot since you beat any other 8 instead of splitting.

Do you intend to call a raise?

I think he pretty rarely has something good. Nobody slowplays anymore.

I think the 3 is better because he can call with more worse hands.

P(78,89,8T) >> P(J8,Q8,K8,A8), because of PF, IMO
