Default Best strategy for horrible structure?

I recently played in a charity tournament where the breakdown was as follows:
-Start with 1.5k, blinds at 25/50
-Blinds go up every 15 mins
-Buy-in for $100, rebuy for $60
-Add on at the break (3k for $60)
-300 entrants, top 10 pay
-10k for first

I was wondering what the optimal strategy here would be. Obviously the players are horrible and don't like to fold. How do you play this? Do you even bother rasing pots pf or do you limp in and see a flop, bet when you make a hand or fold and get away cheap? Is it even worth taking risks during rebuy period and rebuying or do you scrap that idea and hope to build your original stack?

I am only asking these questions because of the blind structure. Here it is:
-25/50
-50/100
-75/150
-100/200
-200/400
-300/600
-400/800
-500/1000
-1200/2400 (100 ante)
...and so on. Remember the blinds go up every 15 mins.

Discuss.

In the first hour, with decent cards raise big preflop and c-bet/shove almost any flop. Rebuy if needed.

I have seen a lot of events with this structure and its pretty pathetic.

So you pretty much commit yourself to a hand pf?

Pretty much yeah. The players in this are going to be awful.

I'd be raising 5x, 6x, or 7x the BB preflop (a standard raise will probably get 4 or 5 callers) and then 3/4 pot bet or shove if I have any pair or two overs on the flop.

Edit: looking back on it, do you think this strategy would have worked for you?

Shoving 2 overs on the flop against 4 callers definately puts you behind, and you only make a pair about 1 in 3 times. Even if you do make the pair, doesn't mean its good. Does it make any sense calling with hands like AQ or AJ and hoping you hit the flop since you definately will be getting paid off?

I guess I was assuming the big raise PF would get you heads-up, maybe 3 handed.

If I get more than 2 callers I would definitely back off.

But if it goes to the flop heads-up I am playing the way I posted above.

I agree if you get it heads up, but in reality, what are the chances of that?

I really only addressed one situation, which was raising from EP and getting called by 1 or 2 others. I guess what I said is probably standard for this structure. I'll let someone else take care of the other situations

1. rebuy immediately.
2. no don't limp good hands but play a lot of pots early unless its an all in fest
3.play aggro after rebuy bc you will need ammo to make final tbl vs 300.
