Re: 5-handed in a FTP $5
see your points but having a hard time with us going to the mat with this hand considering the stack we have...if we raise less than the pot can we fold to a reraise or are we loking to get it all in (25BB) with TPMK? Also are we counting on blind aggression here? As i asked before what does he put us on that he wil commit almost half his chips on this hand

Re: 5-handed in a FTP $5
If villian has been pushing people out of pots why are people saying a raise of 2.5x is good? Go 4x and take down a 10% addition to your stack.

Re: 5-handed in a FTP $5
Raise preflop - open limping at this stage is not a good play - you have SB with M=7, who should shove over any limper with nearly ATC.
You make it pot-sized on the flop (which I agree is a bit on the large side) and get raised - so you have to options - fold or push - calling is not an option, cause you commit yourself anyway. On this board I would fold. |

Re: 5-handed in a FTP $5
Point taken...I should have raised 2.5-3 preflop then pushed over his reraise on the flop.
For the record, he A2s, no heart. Regarding the preflop call, my thought was I'd be able to get away from the hand if someone who's been quiet wakes up and call (reraise?) if the bully came in to the hand. Is that so bad a plan? Admittedly, I now see the advantage of raising instead. Thanks for the thoughtful analysis all! |
