Re: ($24) Unraised JJ on A-high flop. Weird line check
hmm I don't really like this. I definitely open raise JJ here. On the flop, honestly I would just muck. There are few cards on the turn that you'll like and really it just looks like you have spewed 200 chips here.
What is your minimum preflop hand to open here? QQ+, AKo+? This is not to get a read on you, I'm just interested. |

yeah why not open w/ JJ ? Raise 5x see if you get anyone coming along... in this situation, simply muck after flop.

Re: ($24) Unraised JJ on A-high flop. Weird line check
Well I definitely don't raise 5x, 3x is fine. I don't like bloating the pot with a hand that doesn't figure to get a ton of great flops. Also, by only going 3x, your c-bet is a lesser percentage of your stack.

I like a raise to 160 preflop. As played it looks like a fold cause its 3 way.

Open pf on the real, you're missing out on value by just limping. As played just fold flop, there's no point in getting involved.

Re: ($24) Unraised JJ on A-high flop. Weird line check
I like a raise pf too but a limp is far from ugly.
Folding the flop is ugly imo. I like your line and expect to see 50% a weak ace and 50% 66. |

Re: ($24) Unraised JJ on A-high flop. Weird line check
So we loose 50% of the time 200 chips and win 50% 200 chips. The chips we earn arn't that valuable as the chips we loose, so this is a -EV play..., right??

So we loose 50% of the time 200 chips and win 50% 200 chips. [/ QUOTE ] This is a really short shortcut. I mean, there are different streets, with different odds, differents perspective and different decisions. |
