against a passive player, checking the turn behind misses value. also, you should be more inclined to bet since your potential redraw isn't to the nuts. if he raises you can dump it safely.

i thought about betting turn, but for some reason i was afraid of a check raise on that street, forcing me into an awkward betting situation. Looking back at it now against this type of player with the flush card hitting on the turn i think even if he had a set he would just check call hoping i didnt have a flush.

I ended up making a crying call to have him show me KK with K diamonds.
