Re: San Diego in an AC world
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] If AP is still successful today (I don't know much about the scandal) [/ QUOTE ] You have 574 posts in 6 months on the biggest online poker website in the world, are presumably more educated about online poker than 99.99% of people on Earth and 9x% of the players, and don't know anything about the biggest scandal in online poker history that started a month ago/continues today. I think you're living proof of the morality/market efficiency equation being flawed. Thanks for posting! [/ QUOTE ] I don't know much about the scandal because I haven't had money in any online poker sites for about a year and can't see myself starting playing again given the things going on in my life right now. I used to play very seriously but stopped before the start of school last year. |

Re: San Diego in an AC world
Nate and others,
I just want to remind everyone that there is no such thing as a mandatory evacuation. There are no laws requiring you to leave during a standard natural disaster and the police aren't going to arrest you if you don't leave. When an official calls for a "mandatory" evacuation, it's a bluff. Ask the people on the rooftops after Katrina. |

They called the govt's bluff only to find that they were bluffing with a better hand. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Only government agents have the authority to force an evacuation (as they should). [/ QUOTE ] So you believe in different classes of people? [/ QUOTE ] Different levels of authority. [/ QUOTE ] So basically what you're saying is, you believe in different classes of people? I hear India is nice this time of year. |

If you want to call that different classes then I guess I have no problem with that either. |

And if you still want to be one, I bet you can find someone who will take you in and be your personal authority figure. Just don't force me to do the same. |
