Its too small. Also if you think your JJ is good on that flop, you should have 4betted pre.

Any reads on villain? This is a [censored] spot v. an unknown, but I probably just shove the flop. I'm not happy about it though.

EDIT: To clarify, I meant 3-bet shove over his raise not open-shove of course. That would be gross.

I raise it to $9 on the flop. This guy is a short stack, so if he has anything, he'll probably get it in on the flop. Most of the time, this is a draw, so you want to pound him while you're ahead and don't give him the odds to draw out on you.

I think you're WA/WB on the turn, which makes his short stackedness kind of a pain in the ass. I don't think anyone really takes this line with a FD, so you're either looking at an A10ish hand or trips. If he was deeper, I'd call it and look at the river. As is, though, I don't think you made a terrible play. He was going in on the river regardless, in all likelihood.

you were 3bet out of the blinds by a player at $25nl who showed continuous aggression. Reads would help but I'm generally flatting the flop in position and folding to a turn shove/large bet.

Wow, that is a huge piece of information that you forgot to include.

You definitely want to get it in against this guy. Given this info, I raise to 8.50 on the flop and shove over his turn bet.

50/43.75/2.80 over 35 hands - acehud hadn't gotten the info yet so he was unknown when I played the hand.
