Getting 7.5:1 on the river you can't fold. I really don't like from preflop to the turn either.

I can somehow relate to the way you played it, but honestly you're just being way too tricky for 0.25/0.50.
On the flop - if you choose to c/r you can make it bigger than 3b, just bet the pot ~7.
On turn - if for some reason you feel villain is calling light, and you can bluff him out, then bet big, i would shove to this bet out of principle. bet 12 like a man if you want him to fold.
If he called you that far he probably has 1010+, now the miracle ace gives you (probably) the best hand, so extract as much as you think he'd call.

It may or may not be dead on the turn. On the flop it is dead of course, but they also almost never have an Ace here.

so you are saying they bet and called your raise on the flop and turn bet with something like KJ or 22?

I think if you c/r flop... you have to fire the turn much stronger than 1/3 of the pot. Your line looks very very odd here and if you checked to me on the river, I'm firing about 20 with almost all of my holdings regardless of hand strength.

I'm confused by this whole thing. He means you don't have 2pair b/c 55 is on board already, but i think you understand, i just don't understand what...[censored] it.

i don't like the line much. his bet looks weak so its ok to try and take it away but you have to bet more on the turn.
As for actual question, I don't see the merit of the c/rai.

Here is what I'm thinking. You thought he was weak or had a draw. when he didn't get there you checked b/c you thought that a bluff was the only money you were getting from him.
this means, however, that a c/r is essentially useless.

I didn't check stack sizes though. I guess if it is only a small raise you could conceivably get PP's to call out of confusion. also, not showing it down has some merit i suppose. all else equal i would choose to not show my hand
