I'm biased! You posted the river action!
I would say bet the river but thats probably my bias coming in. |

I'm not sure the ace on the river changes enough for this to be "just right."

Capping the turn and then checking the river is just leaving money on the table.

Re: Set hand: too much, not enough, just right?
I think you can toss in one more bet here on the river and call down if it gets raised. The flop is incredibly dry for this level of action, which suggests you're way ahead (I'm assuming villian's calling 2 cold with 25 or 75 is very unlikely, could be different if that's not the case).

Re: Set hand: too much, not enough, just right?
You don't think BB's check/3-bet line on the turn is scary? I actually wasn't sure if I should cap the turn. I mean, a dry flop gets bet, raised, 3-bet and capped, whereafter someone suddenly wakes up and check/3-bets a blank turn? In my mind TT, 75, 52 were actually somewhat likely candidates here, as were 33, 44 and AA, possibly KK. I couldn't see many other hands. But the preflop action didn't make sense; the only remaining hands then were 33, 44, 75, 52 and possibly TT. Since there's 6 combos I beat (33/44) and 35 that beat me, I didn't feel good about this. But maybe some over-confident AA or KK, and against 32 of the combos I held a ten-outer. Furthermore, it was likely button would cap anyhow, so I just made sure the money went in on the turn. This was questionable to me. Then on the river I would really only win if they together held two out of 33/44/KK. Maybe I'm giving my opponents too much credit.

I could check/3bet this turn w/ A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Since it's the BB, he could some other two-three gap spade holding. |

Is this a six-max hand?

Re: Set hand: too much, not enough, just right?
5 handed. check/3bet-ing A5s would not be very smart imho. But you have a point, it could be that.
