First time posting under this topic - newb - any cooments appreciated -

3 folds, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, BB calls $2.

Flop: ($6.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB calls $4.

Should I have been all in after the flop?

I think you played it fine. I dont mind the check behind on the turn, nor the check on the river - since you'd probably only get called by hands that beat yours (2 pair, weak flush, broadway straight). Not to mention, by checking, you get to see what he check/called you down with.

a very good LAG may raise this hand on the button, but someone playing shortstacked, or even a solid TAG shouldnt be playing this hand from any position, ever imo. so fold preflop.

as played though it looks good.
