it seems everyone thinks calling the flop > raising the flop. i think if you call the flop, the only way you get 99-QQ to fold is by firing the turn and shoving the river... you have to commit slightly more chips to float the flop and bet the turn and i think it has a significantly lower chance of folding out 99-QQ. i don't think 99-QQ ever folds if you check behind on turn and bet river, unless scare cards come.

i definitely think folding flop is the best option and would do it without much thought, but i also think raising is the second best option, with calling being a clear third.

I think people tend to overvalue small/mid pairs a lot but I'd call 8s pre.

I'd folds 2s.

I call flop but dont think folding is stupid or anything.
