Betting when you don't have it and checking when you do is no good. Even if I do get c/r I can call and draw to a flush or two pair. If he c/r turn and bets the river I can be pretty sure I'm beat (if I don't improve).

Doesn't explain why you included the river action and the timing tell, but decent save none the less.
