Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
[ QUOTE ]
The best day a SOLID player can EXPECT TO have is about 700. [/ QUOTE ] FYP. From a $100 starting stack it takes 3 double ups to beat your $700 number. Not common, but solid players can be luckboxes too. |

The best day a SOLID player can have is about 700. [/ QUOTE ] Like redfisher said, good players can be luckboxes too. Since I know a number of people that have had a personal best of +2000 in one days worth of 1/2NL I'm pretty sure this is wrong. |

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
I misread op, I was thinking it was 300 b/i bc there is a loc casino that spreads 1-3 300 bi.

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
way back when i used to play in the 100nl game at hollywood park ($2/$3 blinds) there were definately stacks above 1k so saying 700 is the best possible day is rediculous. any luckbox lag could get over that easily.

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1week
What's the rake? This can have a huge impact on hourly profit, especially with the $100 max buy in.

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
When the casino I played at had a min/max of 100, my biggest win was 990 in 3 hour session. In the past month, 9 sessions, 54 hours, im at almost exactly $100/hr playing 1/2 100-300bi....
I find it amusing that the guy above, who says a "very good player can make 4BB/hr", goes on to say thats what he made as if he is one of the best players playing the game so that is all that is possible. |

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
54 hours is probably 2000 hands. The other guy was probably talking about 100,000 hand sample. Within 1 week of poker play the possible variance is very large. OP may earn 100 bucks an hour at the casino, but should he expect to make that much? no.

Re: Over / Under on How much a player could make playing a 1/3nl for 1
[ QUOTE ]
A very good player would be able to make about 4 Big Blinds per hour for forty hours. 12x40= 480. I can honestly say that I used to play in 1/3 game at 4 Big Blinds per hour. A typical winner probably makes 2 or 3. At 3 big blinds per hour: 320 At 2 big blinds per hour: 240 I give the total over/under at about 300/ week at a 40 to 50 hour week. [/ QUOTE ] Funny, I can beat 5/10 NL for 10 big blinds/hour. And I can beat 2/5 NL for like 15 big blinds/hour. |
