thought about it...

felt like a 2 wasnt likely in his range, a 7 may also not have been as likely, also a J may be possible but i dont think theyre checking behind turn...cant see many ofthem calling a flop bet, and overcards like to float this kind of flop

[censored]

10 NL on stars is not possible

I'm down 10 buyins in 5k hands

was dealt AK 58 times: net -5 buyins
was dealt AA 22 times: net +0.8 buyins YAYAYAY
was dealt QQ 23 times: net -0.2 buyins

i feel like i'm playing solid, 20/14, aggro is 5/3/2
but people keep sucking out on me or getting dealt monster hands while i have pretty solid hands too

here is a hand i just played typical, i dont even want to be in this hand, for the love of god somebody bet so i can just fold, but no, poker stars lures me in

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($9.95)
UTG ($5.30)
MP ($18.90)
CO ($5.05)
Button ($7.75)
SB ($10.40)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, 2.
UTG calls $0.10, [color=#666666]1 fold</font>, CO calls $0.10, [color=#666666]1 fold</font>, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.40) 2, T, 4 [color=#0000FF](4 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, CO checks.

Turn: ($0.40) 2 [color=#0000FF](4 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, [color=#CC3333]UTG bets $0.2</font>, [color=#CC3333]CO raises to $0.4</font>, SB folds, [color=#CC3333]Hero raises to $1.5</font>, UTG folds, CO calls $1.10.

River: ($3.60) 7 [color=#0000FF](2 players)</font>
[color=#CC3333]Hero bets $3.5</font>, CO calls $3.45 (All-In).

Final Pot: $10.50

Results in white below: [color=#FFFFFF]
Hero has Qs 2s (three of a kind, twos).
CO has 2h Ac (three of a kind, twos).
Outcome: CO wins $10.50. Hero wins $0.05. </font>

Don't move up until you are crushing a limit for a very large sample size.

Fk what bankroll requirements say.

Ok I was just scrolling the brew and just read that [censored].
Wow.

what Can I say??? That is the worst possible advice you can give to uNler. Maybe at SSNl,MSNL this is good, but uNL???

Who would recommend playing 100K hands of 5NL, 10NL, 25NL, 50NL before going to SSNL. For a winning player that is ton sof hands that could have been played at 100-200NL for 10 times the hourly rate.

To everyone, please do not try to convince yourself that you have to proove each level that you belong to the upper level before actually going up.

I played 180K life time and more than 100K were at SSNL. I do not regret the 8K hand of 25NL that I played. Yeah I didnt beat 25NL, I just ran good, so what???. That right I didnt beat 50ML either, I ran good (because of sample size I cannot say I beat both levels).

But I can beat 100Nl for 5ptbb/100 because my sample size is big enough.

Please just move up as fast as BR permits, you can always learn to play poker at 100NL. Well at least for me, thats where I hit the wall when trying to play 200NL. So I have to learn poker at 100NL winning 50$/hour instead of 10-25$ per hour at lower levels....

I encourage everyone to just move up in levels as your BR/skill permits.

I agree with both of you...I think the point is to just move up when YOU feel YOU have the skill and bankroll to do so...not necessarily the second you have 20 BIs.
