AA, KK might be in the range if he wants to get tricky and he'd call those, too. I don't see any range here were we don't have the equity for the push. I guess no matter what villain has here the hand plays itself. Equity vs QQ/JJ only is 42.5% and he can't really fold anything that connects with the board in any way Standard, right? |

so you decided to go with this whatever he may have, why not just check/shove then? this way you can catch bluffs too. if he checks behind you're ahead and he wouldnt have called anyway.

[/ QUOTE ] Because my equity drops a bunch on a blank turn and I don't see him cbet/fold much here. Maybe like TT but he's probably going to check that. Small example: Board: Ad Qd Jd Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 44.091% 43.79% 00.30% 7803 54.00 { KcKd } Hand 1: 55.909% 55.61% 00.30% 9909 54.00 { AA, QQ-JJ, AQs, AQo } ---- Board: Ad Qd Jd 6h Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 29.924% 29.92% 00.00% 237 0.00 { KcKd } Hand 1: 70.076% 70.08% 00.00% 555 0.00 { AA, QQ-JJ, AQs, AQo } |

your stove is flawed, cause those hands dont check behind [/ QUOTE ] lol, very true (at least it nicely demonstrates the equity drop though ) I guess checking is not bad there in case he does bluff this flop sometimes. If he checks behind with TT there and a K comes on the river I still have 46% equity and if no hand that checks this behind calls the flop push anyways I guess check is the better play here (concidering that all hands we want to get it in against will get it in on the flop).
