Did I lose value on the Turn?

i slowplay the flop (just call the first time). when button 3bets and SB caps i am sad about my hand, and on the turn there is still button to overcalldown (new term) with AA/KK/JJ/whatever, so calling there is perfect. river is cool w/ nuts.

isn't it funny how SB should be folding trip queens medium kicker to your river raise there? i mean, you never bluff there.

maybe so miles but I don't think anyone has folded trips ever in the history of lhe

edit: slight exaggeration since I know I've folded trips occasionally, but if I was villain with JQ there I'd make you show me the fh 100% of the time even if I know I'm screwed

i also call the flop to keep the family together. Given the action the turn is a close call/raise for me. Seems as if the button is either going to fold no matter or go crazy no matter so I guess I raise the turn and call a reraise.

In this spot nobody folds the trips, but there are plenty of times when you should fold trips or a set.

thanks for the input guys, just getting started with the 6 max lhe so good to hear more experienced opinions, I like the line of slow playing the flop the more I look at it. By the way, what could the button have possibly 3 bet the flop with and fold to 1 bet on the turn?
