I got to the party late.

I was going to say dont bet the flop, because I expected that your opponents would call with overcards. So, I would have preferred to take a free card and wait to see if a small card fell on the turn.

I would fold on the turn.

Hope I dont get crucified for this. lol.

[/ QUOTE ]

This isn't quite the spot to check and wait for safe turn cards, I don't think. They are very likely on big overcards that we can get value from now.

Fold turn.

I just barely lean call here, but mostly because BB is an idiot. His aggression factor is fairly high when we account for his higher VPIP. Had SB bet, I'd have an easy fold, since SB is not as much of an idiot, and his bet from a worse position conveys more strength.

Ker,

How do black 8s mean we're more likely to be drawing live? It's not like we have a flush draw, and other 8's are not huge portions of our opponents' ranges.

because an 8 that falls won't give anyone a Flush.

I think he was saying that because we have the blk 8's, if we hit our 2outer, we won't be filling any flushes. However, the paired board makes this moot.

I think I'm calling the turn, but I'm dreading a c/r from the SB

EDITED: I missread the board and thought we had 4 clubs. I erased my post and am rethinking it.

OK back. It seems to me a choice between a cautiously ptimistic line such as call and fold to a raise.

Or: An aggressive line, raise to try to take out SB and showdown with BB

or a nitty line: which is fold because that capped preflop action suggests a king could easily be in either villains hand.

Being a dedicated nit: I fold here.

Doh! Didn't register the board pair, but yea, being able to hit our set without 3-flushing the board is something I pay attention to in multi-way pots. I'm leaning towards a fold here, but I may be a bit weak/tight with under pp. I also don't have a sense of just how big an idiot BB is, which could push it to a call or even a raise/fold if SB c/rd. I would love to get rid of the good player.

I was actually waiting to see if wook was the first one to pick up on this or if he really did glance over it, since he didn't mention it in his post to Kerowo.

I was all set for an "ummm, paired board?" from wookie in regards to my post.

Yes, of course.
