Default Early 50/50 hand...facing big bet on river with KK

Early PS 50/50 hand. No reads.

As he comes along for the ride I assume he's on a flush draw. The question is, was it with an A or with some other two clubs? I think the A on the river is a great bluffing card, and his bet size makes me think he's FOS.

Do you call here?

I call all day long.

People are overbetting more and more now with nothing trying to take the pot with nothing, thinking it shows strength. I don't see anyway how you can really fold this because I don't see what he's going to call down with an ace other than the flush draw, and if he's smart, he'll go for a minimal bet for value expecting a raise or something, not overbet it.

Fine play/call.

The A is a nice bluff card for him if he's on a draw, so I'd call pretty fast. And bet more on flop and turn.

yes - your bets on flop and turn are too small.

i'd also call the river.

I call here. One thing to think about is the percentage of the time this "overbet" is a bluff, because in my experience (and it could just be a small sample size), this kind of bet is begging for a call. However, what leans me to a call here is that you don't have Kc.

When someone check / calls two streets on a drawy board then bets big on the river when a scare card (that missed the draws) hits, it's a busted draw a lotttttttt of the time. So yep call.

Also, bet like t200 on the flop and 2/3+ of the pot on the turn. Otherwise nh.

Let's turn this around for a sec. If you're the villian, are you taking a stab at this on the river? What is your bet size?

1. Not this early, no. I just don't like pulling off bluffs against unknowns early. It's silly and it hardly ever pays off. Also, your weak leads would make me think that you might have the A or the A high flush. I want to preserve my stack for later rounds where I can make strong moves and the donk element has decreased and the "I need a strong hand to make a move" element has increased. That, btw, is probably going to be my running theme for the next few months assuming that SSMTT still has a forum where 85% of all posts don't read like nasty crayon drawings from a 4th grader destined to fail in cursive.

2. I probably open raise with this from MP because limp/calling OOP sucks. Then, I prob. try to rep. a big hand on the flop and get it in because I'm a fish, albeit with a couple of shark's teeth transplanted from 2+2.

3. If I am going to bet this river, I make it about 600 to 700, since that is my standard value bet here. In blind battles, however, I'm almost always PSBing because you get so much value from doing that.
