5/10 - A5s - Donk Fest \'07
CO is a moron 80/20/2 loves to donk bet bluff constantly.
Does it like every 2 hands he's in. SB I can't remmeber exactly, but I remmeber him being fairly loose pre-flop and not very agressive. Poker Stars Limit Holdem Ring game Limit: $5/$10 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB folds, CO calls. I hate the turn and river. Ok, you're ahead of CO a bunch on the turn, but how light does SB peel? And once he calls two cold on the turn and leads the river, A-hi almost can't be good vs. passive.

You're not betting for value, and you're not folding any worse hands out, right? Why not call, try to hit your flush, let CO piss away his money if he's behind, and decide if you want to continue on the river? As it played out, I'd fold on the river quickly. -Brass |

Once sb calls the turn and leads the river I think your toast. I don't mind the turn raise as you have plenty of outs against the CO and some fold equity with the sb . SB maybe a busted flush draw and making one last effort at the pot?
I probably just call the turn faced in this situation but I can see an arguement for your raise. |

Turn raise looks reasonable to me. You get SB to fold a weak pair there a lot. I'd probably fold the river though.
If SB called quickly on the turn, that increases the chance he has a draw and would be an argument for calling the river. Z |

Re: 5/10 - A5s - Donk Fest \'07
I'm warming up to the river call. SB's only conceivable holdings are 6x, an overconfident Qx, and one of many busted draws. Plus CO's last action flips the pot from protected to unprotected.

Re: 5/10 - A5s - Donk Fest \'07
At first I liked the turn raise, but now Im not so sure. SB probably peeled with trash because people love peeling with ATC on these flops. The raise is probably unnecessary to get it heads up. The rare times that CO decides to 3 bet are awful for us aswell. As played, I cant imagine that SB decided to bluff after seeing the turn get bet and raised so I can find a fold here.
