Default Melbourne Greyhound Park-- anyone play there yet?

I am headed to Florida to get out of the cold weather and will be in the Melbourne area next week. Has anyone played at the Greyhound Park yet and have any info? What is the rake there ? The website didn't have much info and nobody answered my email.

Thanks!

The new card room is actually pretty nice. I don't remember what the rake is though as I've only played there once.

I live in Palm Bay and play at MGP. You can play 2/5 NL, 1/2/2 NL, 2/4 limit, and 2/2 limit. The NL games are $100 min and max buyin. If you drop below $60 you can rebuy up to $100 in increments of $10. The rake is capped at $5, plus $1 for the jackpot. I played there a ton in August and September and made a killing, but have cut down a lot since then due to football season, work, and the inevitable downswing. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Is Don's Famous Hoagies still there? Other than the beach, it was the only redeeming feature of the town.

Don's is still there and will be as long as long as the family wants to run it. I haven't lived there in 15 years and when I go in go in there (once or twice a year) they still know my name, my family and what my order will be. It is great place.
Living in Palm Bay must be the reason you didn't like Melbourne. I lived in Melbourne beach for 20 years and loved it.
