You need to check/fold the turn without a read on villain. With a read on him as being tricky & aggressive, I can see calling down.

FWIW, we don't have 6 outs max on the turn--if villain paired the deuce we have 9 outs to a win/chop. But that's not worth continuing here against most opponents.

If I did call the turn bet & he fired again after the K hit on the river, then I would be pretty tempted to call 1 more bet there. The turn & river brought scarier & scarier cards to the board, and unless he has trips or better I would expect him to check through there with a made hand. Monsters are rare, so getting 8:1 I'd have looked him up.
