sign up bonus effect rakeback at ftp?

I just opened an account at full tilt poker and did a player to player transfer to fund my account and now am thinking of depositing with epassporte to get the sign up bonus. Will this effect my Rackback? I saw another thread about using ftp points and it effecting rackback. I wanna get the full tilt slippers they got in the store will that effect rakeback too? If so will it effect it for only one month, until its payed off? What is the MGR that has to do with rakeback I dont know what that is. Thanks in advance Im used to stars and having no rakback at all.

MGR is your monthly gross rake. Full Tilt deducts just about everything from your MGR. Deposits, bonuses and store purchases all will effect your MGR. They will effect it for one month. You should still take advantage of bonuses whenever you can though. Bonuses + rakeback are better than either alone. If you want something from the store buy it. The deduction will come from your MGR not your rakeback. Yes, it will effect your rakeback some what but 100% of the cost is not being deducted from your rakeback. A $100 purchase in the store would only effect your rakeback $27 for example.
