Do some people actually think it wasn't forward?

Do some people actually think they never get a favourable break with the referee? Yeah it was forward. NZ should stop crying about it. It evens out in the long run, rugby is hardly fair short term. Players know it, spectators don't.

Forward passes are common, and on Michalak's run there the NZ defense was in tatters. Certainly refs are not perfect, but I still just can't figure out why the IRB is appointing someone with only 1 year international experience and 6 test matches to such an important game. I'm pretty sure the majority of refs would not have given a yellow card to McAlister, in bigger games they tend to let the players decide the match.

The stats for NZ are just sick; aside from total domination in the lineout and scrum, they had 72% possession, 36 tackles to France's 172, crazy. Crazy bad luck with the injuries to both Carter and Evans; you have to think they would've taken a drop goal sooner near the end when they were closer.

How many tries have New Zealand scored off of forward passes in the last 4 years? Not catching the forward pass there isn't really Barnes' fault, either. I'd blame the touch judge if anyone.

what a start to a semi-final.

Enlands kicking looks 1% off & thats enough for a good french team to Kill us with.

We don`t look as good in the scrum as we have done. why is that? with our weight advantage i thouht we`d have the french over.

loved the pat on the head from Josh Lucy after he scored.

Haha, I was at a bar in NYC for this game that was probably about 80% French. They were singing the Marseillaise and [censored] during the game but shut up at the end. The French are just losers in general.

england do it again. Their front pack has been the key to the past two matches. I'm still surprised that they didn't get more then 3 pts from those two times that they were within 10m of the try area in the second half. I'd be shocked though if they are able to beat South Africa if SA makes the final
