i was going to stop going to eastlands as i was bored witless by the experience.

It wasnt just the smoking ban.
I have been pissed off at being told to sit down continually during games.
I have also had enough of the bull [censored] from the ticket office and not getting my points tracked.
Also the appalling service at the bar and this practice of turning the TV`s off straight after half time

If it matters, i renewed my season ticket back in March before anyone had heard of Shinawatra or Elano.

And yes, the smoking ban came close to being the final straw.

Die Hard Blue?

Im not claiming to be a die hard blue.
30 years and over 60 different grounds later and I couldnt give a toss about being a die hard blue.

You and i SIR, have different agendas

But thankyou for your thoughts on the smoking ban

I am a first year American premiership watcher. Tottenham looked impressive against Liverpool. That Robbie Keane has skills. Seemed like every touch he had was dangerous. That match was a lot more fun to watch then the 0-0 draws Liverpool had been having lately.

I was dissapointed at Mourinho leaving Chelsea since he's so perfect as the "love to hate him" character in the league. Hope he lands somewhere else in the Premier League.

keane is overated. i would say there at least 35 strikers in the prem better than him.

What have you been smoking....

There is approx 10 that are better than him and thats not just on current form ? If that...

Although I think Defoe is a better goalscorer than him...

You're crazy, mate.

He's easily in at least the second echelon (the top being Rooney, Drogba, Van Persie, Adebayor, Owen, Berbatov, Torres, Anelka, maybe one or two others I'm not remembering off the top of my head)

and he'll be joining ManU in Jan because Jol has some serious hate for him for some reason, and I'll love it (i've always been a fan of defoe since he had that insanely goal scoring streak at brentford)

35 was way excessive actually. i have a distain for robbie keane as he was hailed as the saviour of irish football but i think hes far from it and i generally talk him down when hes people are praising him but i still think i could name 20.

I'd like to hear the 20. He's always been a quality finisher, even when he was at wolves. Is he in the top 5, definitely not, but I think he's a top ten or fifteen striker in the prem(I'll come up with a list after I get back from class)

In other news, FIFA 2008 was released today. Can't wait to get home from work imo.
