Re: river donk from solid TAG
i'd fold if your read is good that he is solid. I think he has Ax the vast majority of the time. If he has a K you're splittng.

Re: river donk from solid TAG
he could always be donking any king, expecting it to now be a split with the hopes of you possibly folding. pretty easy call imo

Re: river donk from solid TAG
if you are splitting at best, you need to be splitting 1 time in 4. I think this is an ace more than 3 in 4.

Re: river donk from solid TAG
also, Kx checkraises the flop/turn at a much higher frequency than Ax does. Plus there are more combos of Ax because people defend more liberally with it.

i don't really know too much beyond his stats. he hasn't gotten out of line so far this session though. i think it's a fold.

Re: river donk from solid TAG
I'd venture that this is an ace upward of 95%.

Re: river donk from solid TAG
1)From villain's perspective, if he does in fact have an Ace, what do you guys think about his decision to donk the river?
2)If he checks the river, what is the weakest hand you would value bet? 3)If for whatever reason you bet the turn with a hand with no showdown value (say 6s 7s), do you bluff the Ace river? Thanks, Cartman |
