What kind of a man would allow himself to be coached by a female woman poker player.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL at those thinking $350 is too high. I doubt the market would allow much more, but easily a very good value.

also, fwiw... we're not making a habit of this (not that i think it would be a problem, i just think it isn't the best way to learn). next time he will definitely be playing himself, but i think that the first session of him just watching me proved to be extremely helpful, and i know he agrees.

i still dont get it. why would duck coach if she is a winner at HSNL. she can make more just playing. is OP her friend? thats the only way i can see a HSP player doing this at MSNL. if she wins on his account more than than she charges she loses. if she loses on his account she wins. do you see what im saying.

I coach because

-I enjoy teaching and it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something
-You're basically being paid to externalize important concepts about the game
-It's nice to have some variance-free income, especially during a downswing
-If my students reach my level they become people I can talk to about strategy

I know Vanessa coaches for similar reasons

nr 1 here doesn't make sense. Do you view poker as something that does good ANYWHERE except in your own pockets (or in this case, your 'students' pockets)? WTF are you accomplishing, one person getting better at making a living of others? Nice way of fooling yourself that you are infact doing something good...

No offense but if a coach wins 1k+ on my account I'll agree to anything he/she says.

Oh did you say minraise?!

Duck is my coach
Duck delivers

I wish duck kept playing on my money instead of hers when we did a session with her playing. She won 5k in 30min, obv.

Anyone who wouldn't want duck to play on your money while coaching you SSCKH.

Edit: I'm FBP, posting on my bro's account.

yeah, bc doing something that allows others to improve the quality of their life (and those around them) and gives them personal freedom is obv a horrible thing.
