weirdest thing about straate is that he is insanely good, but he excels at different parts of the game, specifically raw aggression. we played heads up for a little bit, and i remember thinking how weird it was that he was bluffing in spots where he should never be bluffing and how "bad" it was or whatever, and how he missed a value bet or two and something else about his bet sizing. so even if his fundamentals aren't great or if he tilts or whatever, it's kind of a moot point because he never stops betting and that obviously works for him.

straate is extremely good at applying pressure.

20 buck seems good at that as well, esp in 3bt pots vs people that will fold, but is loose enough to be exploitable.

i've never seen anyone bet as much as straate (i.e. put like 80 percent of their stack into a pot) and then instafold. That's a good thing though. I run super hot against him though, so i'm up a lot on him, but he is easily one of the best players i've ever played against.
