i'm pretty happy to pay someone off that makes a backdoor gutshot while calling down with a K4.

Actually I folded this hand, seems I should have called as induced a bluff. He showed T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] for the missed flushdraw....

Still, am I correct in saying that my hand, set of kings, is a bluffcatcher here? Would calling be just as correct with an overpair or TPTK?

So, to summarize, I´m a complete idiot, making one of the worst laydowns of the year?

It's a mistake, yes. But don't take this too hard. This forum is full of idiots who like to boost their e-egos by berating the newbies.

its pretty bad, yeah. you just have to think about what hands people can have from one street to the next. nothing beats you here but a 4, and even if someone has a 4, you shouldn't care much, because you can call that bet on the river every time, and they still aren't getting paid enough.
