for less than half a buy in I'm tempted for sure. They really didn't represent much preflop which would lead me to believe it's a smaller pocket than 77. I think you're worried about 88, but very rarely 1010 or JJ.
I'm going to say it's fine, but close. |

You don't really need to bet as much on the flop.. 4.5 accomplishes the same things and get calls from weaker hands. That said, against a half-stack I don't really mind it if you think he's gonna do this with ace high or 66 and lesser pairs.

Don't you feel like he'd raise a higher PP preflop? I also think if he had a 9, he would slowplay it and just call your bet on the flop.
NH, especially against a 60 BB stack. |
