b/f 40. Your hand doesnt have any showdown value against him if he c/r the bet anyway.

ehh.. figured at the time his range was weighed heavier towards Tx that will most probably give up to a 3barrel on that board. plus I have a lot of outs if he calls, bigger pot on river to vbet if I hit etc. etc...

really wasnt expecting the check/raise at all tbh.

what? that's like the least scariest board ever for Tx.

TAG bets a straight on the river, right? Maybe we don't have enough hands on him to be sure, but if we had a longer history with the villain I'd want to bet the river (probably bet/fold). With me I've got a laggy enough image that I get some weird calls every now and then, but even if you don't expect many odd calls, if you're sure enough you're ahead you can make the thinnest value bet you want.

As is we don't have enough history on the villain for me to really be on board with a bet, too worried about AT or even A4s or something.

Gee I dunno the hand that he liked enough to c/r on a really dry turn? Lower sets, good tens, JJ, whatever. Its not what he'll call with, its will he call. If he just calls were ahead. If he folds we were ahead anyway. An aggro tag is rarely checking a A or 6 on this river, he cant expect hero to bet.

yeah, i'll admit the board isnt scary. but I just dont see many TAG regs taking Tx to showdown that often against the pf raiser who isn't slowing down.

goin to bed now but have some more thoughts in the morning

I forgot to mention we're of course going to get called by 55/TT if we bet, but I think he's as likely to have 22/33 so we break even on his sets (maybe if he 3-bets TT sometimes preflop we're actually more likely to be winning a set over set spot).
