Is the postgreSQL I installed several years ago for PT fine for HM?

Really looking forward to diving into your program.

I have tried using a PostgreSQL 8.0 DB and it was fine so it should be ok... Let me know if you have any problems using the old one and I'll add it to the Postgre Installation doc.

Postgres install help looks foolproof - but of course you're sure to meet a better fool very shortly. (try shouting every now and then - this is NOT the password for holdem manager connections. this one IS THE PASSWORD for HOLDEM MANAGER)

The video is good - and you're right, you're a much better programmer than poker player

Why was it taking so long to import 600 hand histories? I am really exited about your new program but with poker office which is what I use now I can import like 600 hh's in a few minutes. When do you plan on releasing this to the public.

That was 600 hand history files not 600 hands (unless that is what you meant). I think I was averaging 20-something hands/second in the video mainly because my computer was choking on the video recording software and the Dev IDE being open. Normally I get about 35ish a second which is 120K+/hr

RVG, I have installed Postgres with PT before and got it going,(created a working database) then when I restart, my computer can't find the Postgres Database, they could never work out what was going on, can't believe your Postgres is the same setup- are you going to be able to sort this out for me? A support issue, and you have'nt released yet

A temporary usable HUD will be added soon while I finish working on the real HUD.
