Vilain is GAMETHEORYEAGLE for those of you that play Party. Think hes a faily standardish TAG (not too sure). I think he may call this flop with midpairs etc, who likes my double barrel?

I don't mind taking the free card on the flop against someone with a tight calling range of a 3-bet. If they call 3-bets often, then I like this, although I'd bet more on the flop.

disagree,

if you bet the flop you are pretty much committed to betting the turn unless villain doesn't peel the flop with anything light at all.

I think a flop check is ok as you can still double barrel whether you hit or miss. I probably play it the same as Jay here a lot of the time but with the turn bet being a shove, or betting more on the flop to shove turn.

He is extremely nitty, like 15/7, I hate preflop for that reason. I don't think the double barrel is bad though as played.

Get FreeParyHandGrabber or something like that. Open it before you sit at tables. Then you have to import the hands into PT yourself.

I agree. I don't like playing semi-big draws like this slowly on the turn. I prefer to check turns with like 1 pair, or really big draws/nut draws where I don't want to face a c/r with great equity and can stack someone or pick off a river bluff.

If you are going to bet-callin the turn, I'd say just open-push yourself.

Ok... for starters, 3-betting a super nit OOP with weak holdings is terrible.

Second, I check behind on the flop for sure against a 15/7. We cannot make them fold to a flop bet and infinite implied odds are sexy.
