Default Odds to call vs loss of FE

Middle of a 11/45. Blinds 300/600/50

7-handed
Hero 3500
Button 2000

Hero´s on the BB, holding T7, folds to button, who pushes, SB folds.

Calling 1400 for 3250 is clear +cEV. But is it +$EV, too, considering you´ll loose your FE for the next hands most of the time?

its an interesting question, and it definitely depends on table dynamic (how often would you have the opportunity to openshove, how much FE did you previously have, how much FE would you later have shoving ~2500 after your blinds). i could see some situations where your cEV edge might be so marginal that passing it up to maintain FE would be a good call, but i think after your SB you'll have little FE anyway, so taking the +cEV call is probably correct.

very interesting..I'd agree with mlagoo. After the SB with 2600 left, you're not going to have enough FE anyway facing BB.

Bump, since the question still troubles me.

More and more, I am getting the impression, calling there is -$EV.

To void the previous replies, for the sake of the question, let´s assume, you still had FE after folding (which is actually true for the 11$/45).

Any more thoughts on this?

I think you definitely still have FE with 2600, and not just in an 11. Sure, maybe theyll call you really light, but theres still a ton of hands even a fairly large stack just can't call 2000 more with. I think calling here against a player with a tight range is a fairly large mistake, but probably fine against someone pushing any 2. Also I'd be much more inclined to call if table had been raising a lot and it was unlikely for action to fold to me on next few hands.

I would fold, T7 is just too weak for a call here, for my style. I might do it if my T was a Q though.
