Anyone played Partypoker on U3 USB memory stick?
U3 (www.u3.com) is some kind of standard where you can run software on a USB memory stick, without installing it to the host computer. When you remove the memory stick, no traces of data should be left on the host computer. I just bought one to synchronize/backup my passwords (Roboform) and other sensible data, and to get access to the same email and browser settings/apps wherever I go.
In theory it should be possible to load a memory stick with all your poker apps, bring the little stick wherever you go and being able to play poker at any computer, without installing any software. In practice, only Partypoker and Noblepoker have developed U3 versions of their software yet. Has anyone used this solution to play poker at internet cafes, etc? Any security concerns (keyloggers, etc)? Adde |
