Default A9o - value check ugly turn?

Villain is 48/10/1.5 who will bet like 75% of the rivers if I check turn. Is turn B/f? Should I even call river?

I don't see any reason not to bet the turn, and I'd never fold the river.

you got to bet just to try to fold out his cheese that has 8 outs to chop. there's a ton of value in a bet also.

I always play it like you do, Seth, because I HATE getting bluff-raised by people, and because people love to bluff the river. I guess it's not good, but it's the most comfortable line for me, by a mile.

I tend to play these like this as well just because we're gonna get check raised a whole lot when we bet the turn and thats really annoying.

Unless u have a good read on him that he wont bluff raise the turn I think your line in best because we lose the same when we're behind, win the same when we're ahead and we guarantee a showdown.

Surprisingly, for me, a bet is best here. I never factor in the 8 outs to chop but after doing so the math indicates that villain would be getting 2-1 and the pot is laying 3-1(on average...aproximately). So even if Villain is betting the river, he isn't loosing money. Of course, if Villain is very aggro than that changes things but those stats don't indicate that.
