Default Turned TPTK, 2nd barrel gets raised, 5/10 NL

Stacks $1000

Villain - aggro regular, winner, good player capable of moves, 21/17/3
Hero - playing similar

I think betting the turn a fair portion of the time is necessary in order to protect 2 barrel bluffs, which I do with some frequency on this turn as a lot of my hands have turned gutshots etc

But with that said, how do you react to a raise? Sets and QJs are certainly in his range, but its possible he could be turning a marginal made hand into a bluff here because he knows it is a likely spot that I will 2 barrel air.

Hero raises UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] to $35, Villain calls in CO, everyone else folds

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($82)
Hero bets $60, Villain calls

Turn: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($202)
Hero bets $150, Villain raises to $420, Hero ? ($500 behind)

TPTK is towards the top of my range here, but does that mean it has to be felted?

I don't really want to hear 'check turn' unless you feel really strongly that way, because as i said it is certainly necessary for protecting 2 barrel bluffs.

Also - does it change if you have AJ?

ugh, gross spot. i have a hard time seeing villain float here and then raise turn with air, so i'd fold. i do prefer c/c. i guess T9 would make sense for float -> raise, but the flop is pretty dry so i think you're going to see a lot of slowplayed sets. also you have bad reverse implied odds problems.

What's the hand range that beats you? QJs and a set. It's a dryish board for pairs so he might think you missed or are marginal at best. There are a few weak draws out there and I often play my draws this way. I would lean towards pushing here. The problem is that you're either way behind or up against a hand with outs, which might swing it to a fold depending on how often he can semi-bluff here.

Push is basically a bluff and seems like it would be better with AK than AQ, cause if i get called with AQ im very rarely ahead of something like 9T and usually drawing to 0 or 3 outs. True ?

This seems like a spot where villain can raise with impunity, so if hes good he should be raising a lot, so therefore i should be rebluff shoving a lot. Too many levels? Just put him on QJs/set and move on?

He's not making a move here nearly enough to warrant a call.

Pretty standard fold here.

How bad is a check/call and block river here as a changeup?

I like! I would mix up leading the river with check calling there sometimes too.
