Monday is a bad day to hold it! and since this is Columbus day a lot of govt offices are closed.

[/ QUOTE ]

Of course, this has the potential to be a total train wreck. We need a 2+2 cub reporter there to provide a blow-by-blow.

[/ QUOTE ]

Scratch that - we need a 2+2er there to just break the whole thing up and save us all a lot of pain. Instead of pissing into the wind - just start pissing on the people there - they'll disperse.

[/ QUOTE ]

The 2+2er would be the only person there.

Monday 9am.

Very little notice. (I would've gone, but I just learned about it)

Great timing.

A weak effort is much worse than no effort at all - this makes no sense

[/ QUOTE ]

It makes lots of sense. If the media shows a handful of people standing around with no clear message except that they represent the online poker playing/gaming public, people will draw the conclusion that there really isn't that much outrage. Look at all the people that are saying they're willing to support a protest had they been given more notice and been organized by someone with some credibility. This is why people are happy that Mike Sexton and Barry Greenstein are jumping into the fray. If those two were to say today that they are leading a protest in DC on Friday, there would be a huge turnout. Nobody knows Debbie Richardson, and she hasn't tried to tell us who she is and what she is trying to do. From what I have seen of her posts on other sites, she could be interested mainly in online bingo and not even care about poker players.

Do we have any actual accounts of the 'events' that transpired? Or did the huge mob kill each other over some shiny pennies in the reflecting pools?

Been watching CNN, suprisingly nothing has been shown. Anyone seen or heard anything from this 10 Man March?

I went to the monument this morning and saw a lone jogger.......and then I went home, somewhat relieved that it didn't happen.

That's really sad if the online poker community with millions of dollars and millions of people have not been able to organize a protest for our cause, yet the online bingo community has. Who are the leaders of our effort? If it's the PPA, we need some more frequent communication than the occasional website update. There are many thousands of people that are just waiting for more direction, yet the PPA has not been using these forums to rally the troops. PPA where are you???

We don't need Debbie Richardson, we need Gloria Allred to make a big deal about how Debbie Richardson is not getting a voice in our government!
