Is calling river standard or fold to his semi big bet? |

Re: $12turbo: TPWK call on river?
i don't like betting that flop so heavy, i might bet like t80, then try and make a smallish (1/2-2/3 pot) bet on the turn, then prob check/call river. this strat has worked for me recently when i flop top pair with only a good kicker, because it allows me to keep the pot under control.

Re: $12turbo: TPWK call on river?
What is usually better leading the flop or check/calling? Against a unknown are you almost always going to call if the last person to act is betting the flop? Fold the river if they bet pot or half the pot right?

Re: $12turbo: TPWK call on river?
I like leading but I don't put any more chips uninproved.
The pb with c/c is that you increase their bluff frequency but your hand is not good enough to call more than one bet. As played, leeding chips on TPWK / no draw against 2 opponents is one of the worst thing you can do. Fold the turn and turbofold the river. |

Turn call is fine IMO, but i'd probably have to fold the river unless I had a good read.

Re: $12turbo: TPWK call on river?
Normally I would check the flop and see what developed.
I fold this turn even with the huge pot odds after getting called in two places on the flop, and then seeing the turn get bet/called. The river is an easy fold with him betting into two opponents that have put chips in the pot on the flop and turn. |

Re: $12turbo: TPWK call on river?
fold turn fold river. you're closing action on turn...tpwk is no good to the river since you always fold to a 1/2 pot or 3/4 pot bet on the river without some read that villain is a complete idiot. leading is ok especially on this relatively dry board as long it isnt more than 3 handed.
