Against this type of guy I don't see why you don't just wait for a better opportunity to stack him. In all likelihood is going to do something really dumb sooner or later.

Against what range would it be profitable? Does he CR with air a lot? I'd just as soon fold and get his money later.

I think it's fine to felt this against an outright maniac like this. You have at least a few and probably many outs, and you could even be way ahead if he has say just a pair of fours and a tiny flush draw, 4TJQ, or air, all of which are possible given his stats.

wow at least someone agrees with me - i cant see how this is a straight forward fold getting better than 2-1 against this type of opponent

I definitely "gambol" here against this type of maniac-he shows up with just a King or the nut flush draw, like he had, a ton here given his stats/description.

I tend to wait for metter spots. He could easily be pushing naked fd :x

Edit: just saw the results post... lol oh well, once you reraise pre this hand plays itself and I like the reraise pre to isolate the monkey

Has he been check raising much? If not, I might have to fold on the flop (although 2 to 1 is tempting, you only have a gutshot to go with your middle pair and poor flush draw).

Do you really need to reraise preflop here? Is just calling in position and waiting for the flop a reasonable alternative? I guess it depends on his postflop tendencies.
