Re: Chess Analysis - dmk vs voj
not taking the pawn move two is a mistake, as is not immediately defending it with c4

Re: Chess Analysis - dmk vs voj
4.f3 is the worst way to guard the queen. Yeah it forces him to move away the bishop, but it takes away a great square for the knight and creates holes on e3 f2 g3

Re: Chess Analysis - dmk vs voj
8...fxe6 once again is moving the f pawn without reason. There is no reason to be scared to move the bishop again. Now the pawn on e6 is weak

11. Nh3, the only reason I can see to make this move is planning to go to f4. As such 11. Nge2 leaves the knight with much better options

Re: Chess Analysis - dmk vs voj
chuckles.. actually vs this line the moves he played are absolutely the best.. (except for c4 transposing usually into a caro-kann panov)
8... fxe6 is fps but I used to play that in my youth and it's dangerous 4. Nf3 is just really problematic (black plays Qxd5, Nc6, 000, Dh5 and e5) 4. Be2 is pretty drawish Finally the line with 4.f3 (and often g4 after) is the most solid white line.. |

16.O-O Castling now leaves your king way out in the open. You can still get out castling kingside if you defend the knight with the queen
