just got a mailing from some site i've never heard of, oddsmaker.com. in the envelope they included a business with the "20 best starting hands" in holdem. their list is ordered like this:

1. AA
2. KK
3. QQ
4. JJ
5. AKs
6. TT
7. AQs
8. AJs
9. AKo ?????????
10. KQs
11. ATs
12. KJs
13. AQo ?????????
14. 99
15. QJs
16. KTs
17. 88
18. QTs
19. A9s
20. AJo

feel free to discuss this retardation.

all you donkeys overplaying your AKo like its AJs....

AKs is the best starting hand, there are 6 possible outs as opposed to 2 possible outs for AA

5To is the best obv, can make 2 flushes and almost all the straights.
