Default looking to get into sports betting, help?

ok, i'm looking to get into serious sports betting, i'm currently saving for the starting capital. I have 750 and was thinking maybe 1000 would be enough. is it?

also i'd like to educate myself some before i jump into this so can anyone point me in the direction of some online resources that may help?

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

750 is more than enough. Just bet $10 a game until you prove yourself to be a winner, then move up. If you lose $750 betting $10 a game, then it's probably not for you.

What are good US sportsbooks? And how do you deposit?

Welcome to both of you.

Please do yourself a favor read the FAQ for this forum:
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...Number=7177789

If you want to ask questions that have been answered 100 times already and are in the FAQ, please do so in the chatter thread (see the Chatter sticky: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...Number=9966343

if you don't have the discipline and focus to read the FAQ and/or run some searches, then sports betting is probably not for you.

Locking this thread. Newbie questions are always welcome -- just not rehashed old questions which are clearly answered in the FAQ. Anything goes in the chatter thread so you can always ask questions in there, or you should feel free to ask a question in a new thread as long as it's not clearly covered in the FAQ.
