Default Starting Limit Holdem. My first Move?

Hey all, Ive recently been real interested in limit holdem, mostly 1/2 and 2/4. I have always been a No limit holdem player and have been playing for a year and a half.

I want too start grinding 2/4 and move up to eventually 10/20 or 20/40.

My first move?
Who could coach me?

I want too get good at this and make it my numer one game so
any helps apreciated.

hmm, I'd say your best bet is posting in the low limit section while you're grinding it out in there. In addition pretty much all the sklansky limit books have information you're going to want to learn. I'd say post your tricky hands in low limit, and see how you run there. Also if this is online, you *have* to get yourself a copy of pokertracker, and the hud display that goes along with it.

well while you're playing 2/4, you're probably best posting in the small stakes, ya. Not that the concepts don't apply, but it's just probably more correct to post in there. They've got some good forums in there, and some good posters.

Just out of interest, why do you want to start LHE? You currently play NL - most people seem to move the other way around and move from LHE to NLHE and its finer points.

I like too have a bit of variety, ill keep playing NL tournaments but ill stick with LHE ring games.

I think that if you can become good at limit and turn at least 5/100bb an hour with 3 or four tables running i could turn a steady profit and move up limits learning more as i go. Also limits variance in bankroll wont affect me as much as NL since the Limit swings are generally lower.

Yeah the swings in limit are definitely a lot smaller.
