Should I complain about this commisioner decision in FFL league?
$100 buyin 12-team league.
This year, we added a rule that teams cannot have more than 4 each RB and WR on roster. League is on CBS, and setting was turned on to allow no more than 4 RB/WR. The thing is, CBS still allows pickups to go over roster limit. But then it treats it as an invalid lineup (even if the starters are valid), and makes the team lose by forfeit. So midweek, 3 teams made pickups that put them over RB/WR limit. Commisioner sent a mail to everyone pointing out that this was not allowed. One team dropped players to correct problem. Two teams did not drop players. So they had illegal lineups and were set to lose by forfeit. This morning, commish sends an email saying that he rolled back the pickups and reset the offending teams' lineups to whatever they had for week 1. I was set to win by forfeit. Now I am pretty likely to lose (if Hines Ward gets 5 FP tonight). Should I complain, or let it go?

I can complain because the players didn't correct the problem themselves. There was no bug in the software, the rules were established weeks ago, they got a warning a couple days in advance -- but they still submitted illegal lineups.

I think you should win by forfeit, but then I'm a nit.
If guys are putting up $100 and then can't follow the rules, well then then they are getting what they deserve.

Post this in the sports forum, but it sounds like your commissioner needs to learn it is his job to enforce the rules, not to change everyone's line-up.

Sorry about the wrong forum. I didn't really think it was that sports related. More of a ethics / help me not suck at life type question. Which are pervasive in OOT.
