Default Spot i hate - QQ on A high board

$100NL 5 handed 1st hand of session

Hero is dealt QQ in BB.

UTG ($40.85) raises to 3
Folded to Hero ($100) raises to 9.50
UTG calls

Flop 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Hero checks
Villain gos all in for 31.35

Is this an easy fold? And should i be betting this flop? Because of his stack size it seemed hard to b/f the flop

I raise more pre to $12
I mostly just shove here vs shorties but don't know if it's correct.

I think I call. Many shorties will push their whole range there.

I would fold. $31 into $20 still seems like to much, you have 2 outs if you are behind, and he may realize that that ace is a scare card for you, but he will still show up with it a lot.

Raise a bit more preflop, and if you called, I think I love the check. I think you get him to put the most money in when behind this way.
