Re: Anyone got a match?
[ QUOTE ]
we can give up on a small edge on the flop to take advantage of a greater edge later by just calling imo. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, this coupled by the fact that we don't even have the nut draw. |

Re: Anyone got a match?
Yea, but you have a brain. These people don't necessarily have one. How many times does this bet have to work to be profitable?

Re: Anyone got a match?
$935 in the pot by my fuzzy math. I'd take a shot.
I'd prefer to have the nut draw before putting any money in on the flop. In those types of games the flop gets capped very often, especially a draw-rich one. "I've never seen anything like it." This happens to me about once a year at Commerce. I played in a 60-120 a while back where one guy played every hand to the end for three hours. Didn't matter how many bets or what he had. And there were two other players who came close. One hand the guy had 3-2o and the board was something like Jh-Th-7d--5c-2s and he beat Ah-Kh. We gave him a standing ovation. Literally. He only lost about $3,000 in the three hours. |

Re: Anyone got a match?
If the table description is accurate, it's not even inconceivable that you have the best hand.
Also Joker - since your Vegas trip you are really letting out the inner LAG. I applaud. |

I couldn't help myself but bet, you might even have the best hand.
