Details of the deaths "are going to prove a little bizarre" when released to the public, Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Autopsies were scheduled Tuesday by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation in DeKalb County.

Ballard told The Associated Press a gun was not used in any of the deaths. But he declined to say how the three died.

"We're pretty sure we know, but we want to confirm it with the crime lab," Ballard said early Tuesday.



this freaking sucks. heard it on espn radio on my way home late last night. benoit was awesome, one of my favorites. i hate finding out that these great wrestlers died, but it's hardly a surprise any more, which sucks.

Wow, that seems a little quick if in fact true. I guess this is going to be their way of saying "Oops, our bad about the tribute to the murderer the other night".

EDIT: Yeah, his merchandise is gone. They still have up a career retrospective on the site though, and they aren't covering up the murder-suicide aspect at all as it is their main story.
