1/5 is that 1/5 of one litre?
in that case it is 1/5 * 1/2 of one litre which is 1/10 of one litre which is 5 * 2cl (1l = 100cl). That would make it 5. You are sure you never had more than (what is corresponding to) 5 beers in one day? If you never drink that much alcohol you might be right.

lol, I think a 1/5 is 750ml but it's been a long time since I've looked at a fifth. I've been trying to remember about how many shots it was and think it was about 12 or so. Figuring a shot == a beer that's about a half case more or less.
This was in college and for some reason I was doing vodka poppers but limiting myself to 3 every 15 minutes. This was back when New York Seltzer water was around and I was mixing them with the blackberry NYS water. I would remember the number more but both times I attempted this feat I sort of blacked out. The last time at a party at my house; very embarrassing to ask people why they didn't show up at my party after having half hour drunkern conversations with them the night before...

A shot is usually about 1 beer so your number is about 12. I have only blacked out twice both times in the former soviet union. Drinking about 35cl of vodka and then a full bottle of russian champagne (champanskoie vino) is a bit of a killer. The other time was a full bottle of vodka after a couple of beers.
Kids do not do this at home.

Had a couple shots at the hotel bar, then went back to the local tap beer had a couple, went to pay my tab. "You already did pay, sir!" The friendly bartender told me. Yikes. Okay.

I was a big boy in college and wouldn't have been hurting after 8 beers at a regular pace so maybe it was more... ahhh old guys remembering the old days, quality reading.

I had 7 beers and 3 shots in probably about 2.5 hours at the Yokahama, Japan Hard Rock Cafe after just flying in. Add in the 3 beers or so on the plane if you want... either way Bravos vaguely remembers walking back to his hotel room that night. Drinking, sleep deprivation, and 11 hours flights typically do not mix. As far as total mass quantity, no idea.. it mostly was in college via kegs.
I am a light weight now though.. had 3-4 martinis and 2 glasses of wine the other night and I basically went upstairs and passed out after we got home [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
