Default NL50: AA - disgusting board

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Villain is: UTG+1 and is totally unknown.

Stacks:
UTG ($109.25)
UTG+1 ($64.35)
Hero ($50)
MP2 ($42.90)
MP3 ($34.90)
CO ($36.50)
Button ($49.75)
SB ($36.95)
BB ($40.40)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $1, UTG+1 calls $1, Hero raises to $5, 6 folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $4.

Flop: ($11.75) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks.
Should I bet here? If yes, then call shove? I decided to check and attack if villian checks the turn. I don't know anything about villain and he may check raise with set, with 2p, with draw.

Turn: ($11.75) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets $10, Hero calls $10.
Very bad/good card falls. Now I am beaten by any king. But this king counterfeits villain two pair - QJ, also giving him chance to bluff. And I called to catch bluff, draw and I think most villains giving up on the river without real hand.

River: ($31.75) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG+1 bets $20, Hero folds.
Looks like, I am done.

Final Pot: $31.75

How bad it was? All comments on all streets are welcome.

Tough line, but why call the turn if you don't call the blank river? You didn't have odds to draw if that's what you were doing. Essentially nothing has changed.

I like the way you played it. I may minraise the turn sometimes for a free showdown but that's about the only thing I'd do different and I don't always do that.

This is probably exactly what I would have done but I don't know if I like it

I think it may be possible to just lay it down on the turn. If we aren't going to call river then maybe that would be best, as leading for almost a PSB on turn seems pretty strong and whether he is bluffing or not I think he is firing river quite often.

I dunno, I run into situations like this where I realize I'm counting on villain to just give up. This works sometimes but I think overall it is a bad position to put yourself in.

actually, giving it up on the turn would be too weak. maybe b/f flop would be best, checking behind after a call.

that straighten things out for ya!?
