Default Does the Wynn cash checks?

I am staying at The Wynn this weekend and I am going to need to cash a check. I assume I can, but I want to check first.

not enough information. is it a paycheck? in-state? personal? none of the above?

casinos cashing unknown checks is akin to extending you gambling credit while it clears. if you don't have history at the Wynn, don't expect them to take unnecessary risk on you.

some of the more corporate, glitzier casinos don't cash checks as policy, particularly paychecks. harrah's claims social responsibility (as if), others just don't want to cater to that demographic. you may try an off-strip "locals" casino instead.

setting up with central credit (in order to cash your own personal checks) takes a few days of bank verification. I don't believe you'll be able to get cleared in time for the weekend though. bring some cash or cash equivalent as a backup, or you may have nothing to gamble with.

I wouldn't count on it. you can try calling the Wynn cage ASAP, but I'd use the same effort trying to clear the check locally, or hitting the ATM for the max today so you can get the max again tomorrow.

I was there this time last year and they wouldn't cash my travelers checks since I was only playing poker there. I ended up having to find an open bank to cash them.

I'd suggest wiring the money.
